Bollier Ciccone LLP, a leading law firm in Central Texas, is seeking a litigation assistant, with one to two years of relevant experience for its civil law practice group (construction/real estate/business). This position will involve hands-on work across a range of civil litigation matters ranging from construction law, real estate law, business law, and other issues.
Our team approaches matters in a collaborative team environment but requires staff to take ownership of case management under the supervision of a partner. We are seeking candidates with excellent writing skills, strong interpersonal and presentation skills, an ability to manage multiple cases concurrently, and who have a proven ability to produce exceptional work

Your Primary Role and Responsibilities
- Telephone and in-person contact with clients, court personnel, and other professionals to schedule meetings, gather information, and obtain documents
- Review of documents to verify their accuracy and completion through cross-reference with other documents
- Prepare inventories of documents for production and management of documents
- Prepare correspondence, vacation letters, and other legal documents
- Prepare trial and hearing notebooks, including gathering and organizing documents, Bates labeling, printing, and preparing trial exhibits
- Maintain paper and electronic files, including creating and maintaining folders, pleading/discovery indices, attorney notes, and research
- E-filing documents with the courts
- Occasional travel for meetings and/or court attendance
Traits and Skills We Are Looking For
- Minimum of a Paralegal Certificate or Associates degree; Bachelors preferred.
- At least one to two years of civil litigation experience
- Strong work ethic and desire to work
- Attention to detail and sharp organizational skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Excellent research, analytical, verbal, writing, and organizational skills
- Spanish language fluency an advantage
