About Alyse Munrose
Alyse earned her JD from the University of Texas School of Law, making her a double Longhorn. She was named the G. Rollie White Public Interest Scholar of her graduating class, receiving a full-tuition scholarship for her demonstrated interest in public service through the law. At Texas Law, Alyse honed her litigation and advocacy skills in the robust clinical program. She represented individuals with disabilities against school districts in the Disability Rights Clinic, ensuring their rights to equal education were recognized. Additionally, she represented children in CPS cases through the Children’s Rights Clinic, making several court appearances in Travis County and winning her first week-long trial before her graduation. Her impact and involvement extended into her efforts at the law school as Alyse held several board positions in various student-led groups, she represented Texas Law as an ambassador of the law school, participated in the student advisory committee with staff and faculty of the William Wayne Justice Center for Public Interest Law, and received a graduating student award for her contributions to the law school community and called a “beacon of justice” by the school’s dean.
Alyse has an incomparable background in family law. Prior to joining the legal profession, she worked as a CPS caseworker in Travis County for multiple years. Now, she applies the skills and knowledge gained through that experience in her legal career. She has worked in various government sectors, including the Texas Supreme Court and Court of Criminal Appeals’ joint Judicial Commission on Mental Health and the Travis County Attorney’s Office. Throughout the majority of law school, Alyse was a law clerk at a local family law firm and has since maintained a passion for family law. Since becoming licensed Alyse has exclusively practiced family law.
Alyse earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. During this time, she prioritized the interdisciplinary skills between social work and the law as she spent her senior year field practicum at Texas Law’s Children’s Rights Clinic as the in-house social worker working with both the students and the clients they served as well as attending hearings, mediations, and other litigation events. Alyse has found that her unique perspective and skills coming into the legal profession has made her a fantastic advocate for her clients.
At Bollier Ciccone Stinson LLP, Alyse brings a remarkable range of experience and a dedication to excellence. She understands both the caliber of work required of outstanding legal analysis and representation as well as the nuances and the impact of engaging in family law litigation.
