Susannah A. Stinson has successfully handled and favorably resolved hundreds of family law disputes for a wide array of clients.

Her decades of experience range from difficult divorces involving high net worth/complex property issues and emotionally-charged child custody matters, to paternity suits, modifications, protective orders, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements, to the many types of enforcement matters inherent in family law matters.

In addition to being Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Family Law, Susannah has been listed among various Super Lawyers honors over her years of practice, including as a “Super Lawyer” and “Rising Star,” and she was named to the “Top 50 for Central and West Texas” for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021. In addition, she has also been listed in “Top Women Attorneys in Texas” and Austin Monthly as a “Top Attorney for Family Law,” so it is no surprise that Susannah maintains AVVO “Superb” and Martindale Hubbell “Preeminent” ratings.

In everything she does, Susannah makes the time to deliver compassionate and effective representation and results that reflect each client’s personal and distinct familial objectives. Susannah knows, from many years of first-hand, honed family law practice, that each client and case is unique. She provides both the sensitivity and candid answers to the many questions her clients ask and the thorough and disciplined approach to problem-solving and advocacy required to navigate beyond the emotional mire when resolving seemingly insurmountable turmoil. Whether through discrete negotiation, mediation, before state and/or federal courts across myriad counties, at trial, or on appeal, Susannah is about getting her clients beyond what is considered one of the most stressful events of their lives.

Clients and colleagues alike appreciate that Susannah gives her all in everything she does. She is described as a top-notch professional who is skilled, thorough, detail-oriented, patient, and someone who clients trust entirely and has been referred to as the best choice (the client had) ever made. Clients also say that Susannah is “a winner in your corner” who can step into a volatile situation and methodically present the case and realize “a favorable outcome.” See more reviews below or by visiting her AVVO reviews.
