Bollier Ciccone Stinson LLP is honored to be recognized by Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas as a 2026 Judge Suzanne Covington Pro Bono Award Honoree as a Pro Bono Leader.
The annual Covington Awards recognize individuals and law firms for their commitment to pro bono service and contributions to expanding access to justice in Central Texas. Named in honor of Judge Suzanne Covington, the awards celebrate those who carry forward her legacy of service, advocacy, and dedication to justice.
According to VLS, Pro Bono Leader recognition is given to firms that meet at least two of the following criteria:
- A firm or corporate contribution of at least $300 per Austin attorney;
- At least 25% of Austin attorneys donate 20 hours of pro bono service; and/or
- At least 25% of Austin attorneys make an individual contribution to VLS.
For BCS, this year’s recognition continues a commitment to VLS and its work in the Central Texas community. Last year, BCS partner Leslie J. Bollier was one of 22 Central Texas attorneys to receive an individual Covington Award in recognition of her time commitment to VLS. BCS was also recognized with a firm-wide Covington Pro Bono Supporter award.
BCS encourages its attorneys and staff to give back throughout the year by contributing their time and resources to local nonprofit organizations, including opportunities to volunteer during business hours. The firm is proud of the collective efforts of its team that made this recognition possible.
The 2026 Covington Awards reception will be held on October 22 at the Travis County Civil & Family Courts Facility in Austin.
