On Saturday, May 2, 2026, Bollier Ciccone Stinson LLP will transform its lawn into something a little different, a taco arena.
Taco de Mayo brings together Central Texas civil law firms for a friendly, and likely fiercely contested, taco cook-off, all in support of Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas. For one afternoon, briefs give way to barbacoa, and courtroom strategy is replaced by culinary creativity.
This event is about more than bragging rights, though those are certainly on the line.
Guests can expect creative tacos from competing firms, a panel of judges deliberating with utmost seriousness, and a spirited afternoon of community connection. Awards will be presented, bragging rights secured, and meaningful support generated for access to justice in Central Texas.
This fundraiser is hosted by the civil law teams at Bollier Ciccone Stinson LLP and Amini & Conant. Proceeds support Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas, which provides free civil legal assistance to low-income individuals and families throughout the community. Funds raised at Taco de Mayo help expand access to justice for those who need it most.
We are proud to bring the legal community together in a way that is competitive, collaborative, and committed to making a difference.
Join us as a competitor, judge, sponsor, or attendee, for an event that proves serious lawyers can take their tacos seriously, too.
